2014 National SCRABBLE® Championship

NSC HOTEL Rooms Filling Fast!!!

If you have not made your hotel reservations in Buffalo, please consider doing so right away

Dear NSC Players,

Here is where we stand at the moment:

The Comfort Suites Downtown
The Comfort Suites Downtown, 601 Main Street, Buffalo, NY – $129 per night, plus tax. A .30-mile walk to the convention center. Rooms available August 7-13. All rooms are king suites with a pullout sofabed, free Internet, free breakfast. To make a reservation, call 716-854-5500 and mention that you are with the National SCRABBLE Championship.
The Hyatt Buffalo
The Hyatt Buffalo is sold out of standard rooms at our $129 block rate, but we do have 15-20 executive king rooms at $149 per night. One can fit an extra person in the room by arranging for a rollaway bed (available on request) to help split costs.
The Hotel Lafaytte
We have contracted with The Hotel Lafayette, a five-minute walk away from the covention center, for four rooms on Thursday, August 7, and Friday, August 8. There are an additional seven rooms available Saturday, August 9, through the 14th. If you are able to book only four nights at The Lafayette, no facility/commuter fee will be charged. Just let us know.
There are one mini-suite at $129 and three one-bedroom suites at $139 available for Friday, and seven total rooms are available the Saturday through Tuesdays nights. There are two two-bedroom suites available Saturday through Tuesday nights at $159.

We are in contact with all nearby hotels and will update you as soon as we have contracted additional rooms.

Ten days remaining on EF discount

The entry fee for the NSC increases by $50 after May 31.
