2010 Tag-Team SCRABBLE Tournament
From NASPAWiki
On Tuesday night, August 10, 2010, Ryan Fischer and Brian Galebach will be directing a 3-game Tag-Team SCRABBLE tournament. In this exciting new variant, four players play at each board in two teams of two players. Each player has a rack of tiles, and on a team’s turn, the team’s players each make a play, in whichever order they like. (Hint: set up a triple-triple for your partner!)
The Tag-Team SCRABBLE game is a very strategic, high-scoring format that is quickly gaining in popularity, and has been enjoyed by top players such as Joe Bihlmeyer, Frank Tangredi, Bradley Whitmarsh, and Joe Edley. Come on out and give it a try!
