A Tournament Coordinator is a NASPA member who is certified to organize a NASPA tournaments, and has additional rights and responsibilities as listed in our Directors page.

A Tournament Coordinator is not certified to run a tournament; rather, the Tournament Coordinator recruits a Tournament/Club Director to come to the event and direct it.

To become a tournament coordinator, one must pass the director’s test (a written examination) and serve an apprenticeship. A Tournament Coordinator may also undergo additional training to become a Tournament/Club Director.
