Several rule changes become effective August 1, 2009 (not July 1, 2009, as originally announced). Please read the list of changes carefully.
IMPORTANT: This is a clarification from the Rules Committee regarding rules that refer to "reporting error" when turning in submitting result slips. This does Result slips CAN ONLY be amended if the two players' scores have been reversed or if the score reported on the score sheet is not mean changing a score because something that what was miscounted or misadded or that you forgot to add an overtime penalty before they turned in agreed upon when the result slipwas signed and submitted. It does mean that A score CANNOT be changed if they wrote a different score than what an overtime penalty was recorded not accounted for; or if tiles left on the scoresheets, a player's rack (or players' racks) were not accounted for; or if any sort of recount or reversed the scores, this can be changed mathematical adjustment takes place after the result slip has been turned insigned and submitted.
