Players under Suspension

According to our Code of Conduct, players may be ejected from a tournament by a tournament director, and a subsequent disciplinary process by the Tournament Committee may result in a longer suspension, subject to appeal as described in the Code.

The Code of Conduct also says that players may be ejected and/or banned from play at a specific club by a club director, which may result in a disciplinary process by the Club/Director Committee and a general suspension, subject to appeal as described in the Code.

When it comes to the attention of the Executive Committee that a player has been charged with a serious crime, they are banned from participating in NASPA activities for life, but may appeal this ban to the Advisory Board if charges are dismissed. If convicted, they may appeal their ban to the Advisory Board after they have served any sentence.

In each case, the circumstances and duration of the suspension will be briefly described at the Member Services link above. They are not published, to avoid further reputational damage to players who have served their suspensions.
