According to our Code of Conduct, players may be ejected from a tournament by a tournament director, and a subsequent disciplinary process by the Tournament Committee may result in a longer suspension, subject to appeal as described in the Code.

The Code of Conduct also says that players may be ejected and/or banned from play at a specific club by a club director, which may result in a disciplinary process by the Club/Director Committee and a general suspension, subject to appeal as described in the Code.

Players can also be suspended as a result of an incident report filed with the Tournament Committee or Club/Director Committee and the subsequent disciplinary process. The suspension is subject to appeal as described in the Code.

When it comes to the attention of the Executive Committee that a player has been charged with a serious crime, they are banned from participating in NASPA activities indefinitely, but may appeal this ban to the Advisory Board if charges are dismissed. If convicted, they may appeal their ban to the Advisory Board after they have served any sentence.

In each case, the circumstances and duration of the suspension will be briefly described at this link accessible by directors, the Tournament and Club/Director Committees, and the Advisory Board. The suspensions are not made public to avoid further reputational damage to players who have served their suspensions.
