2002 NSC Accommodations

Hasbro and the National SCRABBLE® Association have arranged in advance for a few hotel deals for contestants participating in the 2002 National SCRABBLE® Championship at the San Diego Concourse. Each deal is on a first come, first serve basis, varies and contains individual amenities. Please note: Taxes and special hotel charges are not noted. Contestants are responsible for their own arrangements and financial commitments to the hotels.

The Sheraton Suites San Diego is 3.7 miles from the San Diego airport and 4 blocks from the San Diego Concourse. The all-suite hotel has a fitness center, pool, Jacuzzi, in-room coffee maker and data-ports.

HOTEL BLOCK is 100 rooms.
The per-night room rate shown is available August 17th though the 21st.

PLEASE NOTE: Prior to March 31st, the Sheraton Suites were under different management as the San Diego Marriott Suites-Downtown. All previously made reservations will be honoured if reconfirmed.

The Bristol Hotel is 3 miles from the San Diego airport and one block from The San Diego Concourse. Rooms are wired for Internet access and voice mail and have coffee maker, hair dryers etc. There is Concierge service, valet parking ($12 overnight) and laundry valet.

HOTEL BLOCK is 75 rooms.
The per-night room rate shown is available August 17th though the 23rd and comes with a complimentary continental breakfast in their restaurant.

The US Grant Hotel is 3 miles from the San Diego airport and across the street from The San Diego Concourse. Mere steps from the Gaslamp Quarter National Historic District, the hotel has complimentary airport shuttle and use of fitness facilities. Rooms have coffee makers, mini bars, hair dryers etc. The cut-off for this special deal is on a first-option basis until July 12, 2002.

HOTEL BLOCK is 125 rooms and has been filled as of July 23rd.
