We have a room rate of US$139/night (7/21–7/28) plus tax at the Marriott Inner Harbor, available to book until June 30. Please read our player information page carefully for the terms for these bookings.

You can preorder your event T-shirt, designed by Lena Markley, for $15 with pickup at registration. Preordering by June 13th guarantees that we will have a shirt in the size you asked for on hand at registration; we may also have a few extra shirts available for sale at the same price. Additional T-shirts may be available for purchase at on-site registration. If you are a life member, your first T-shirt is complimentary.

Word challenges at this event will be adjudicated using laptop computers. If you are unable to go to a nearby laptop computer, key in a word and read a verdict on the screen, please let us know so that we can plan and staff accordingly.

A late registration fee of $50 is included in the displayed price after May 31, 2022 (Eastern Time). You may change your division after registration for $25. (This division change fee is waived when the division change is necessitated by an increase in qualifying rating.) We are offering four NWL divisions and two CSW divisions this year. However, if there are fewer than 20 players in either CSW division as of June 30, those two divisions will be combined.

The registration deadline for this event was 2022-07-10. Entry into this event is possible with special permission of the organizing committee, subject to some conditions, upon payment of a late fee of US$75.00.

This year's SPC Early Bird is again open to all players, and consists of four rounds of NWL and CSW play in divisions of up to 16 players. Paying your EB entry fee in advance with your main event fee saves you 50% ($10 instead of $20); event staff and volunteers, and certified directors are entitled to a further 50% off ($5 and $10).

After registration closes on Friday, July 22nd, we invite you to join us for a welcome dinner at which annual achievement award winners will be honored. The cost of the welcome dinner is US$25.00 per person. There is no charge for children aged 5 and under. For catering reasons, you must tell us no later than July 10, 2022 how many people there will be in your party.

This year's SPC will have a Late Bird event for the first time. It starts at 9:30 A.M. on the day (Thursday) after the main event ends. Its format is identical to that of the Early Bird: it is open to all players, and consists of four rounds of NWL and CSW play in divisions of up to 16 players. Paying your LB entry fee in advance with your main event fee saves you 50% ($10 instead of $20); event staff and volunteers, and certified directors are entitled to a further 50% off ($5 and $10).

This year's Director's Luncheon is open to attendees who are certified club or tournament directors (including apprentice directors). The cost of the Director's Luncheon is US$10.00. Payment of $20 at the door may also be possible subject to catering restrictions.

We accept online payment by Visa or MasterCard credit cards. Our merchant name will appear as NASPA on your credit card statement. When you pay online, you will give your billing information to our payment processor (CyberSource on behalf of Bank of America); they will verify it, schedule the transfer of funds, and return you to this web site. When we have verified the transaction, you will receive e-mail confirmation of your payment and you will appear in our online roster.

We accept offline payment by check, money order or wire transfer, if it is received before the deadline. When you pay offline, your registration information will be checked, and you will then be listed provisionally in our online roster pending receipt of your payment.

Please note that this registration page will close on July 10, 2022, and refunds will be issued (less a cancellation fee of US$25.00) only if you contact us by July 10, 2022.
