CNSC 2003 Information for Media

The 4th Canadian SCRABBLE Championship is being held at the Ontario Club, on the 5th floor of Commerce Court South, at 30 Wellington Street West, between Bay and Yonge. The event begins with a reception from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 5th, 2003, runs until 10:30 Friday night, continues from 8:30 A.M. to about 6:30 P.M. Saturday and Sunday, and finishes with a best-of-five finals which starts at 08:30 Monday morning and will finish with the ceremonial awarding of a prize cheque to the new Canadian champion around lunchtime. The exact end time is uncertain, because of the best-of-five format.

We welcome enquiries and visits from the media. Much more information about the event can be found at this site, including biographical information about the participants, statistics that will be continuously updated throughout the event, photographs, and annotated games that you can step through one turn at a time. All photographs are available upon request at print resolutions.
