He is also:
- director of the oldest sanctioned SCRABBLE club in North America, NASPA Club #3 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
- director of the Canadian National SCRABBLE Championship
- assistant director and webmaster of the World SCRABBLE Championship
- a software developer, best known in the SCRABBLE community for his tsh tournament management program
- the 2006 Michael Wise Memorial Person of the Year
- coholder of the North American record for highest-scoring tied tournament game (502–502)
He lives with his family in Toronto, ON, where he is working on the defence of his PhD thesis in mathematics at the University of Toronto.
