[photo: Logan vs. Cappelletto] At division 1's first board, Brian Cappelletto, the top-seeded player in the tournament, beat Adam Logan, the second-seeded player, 377-294.

Division 3's Nancy Shultz just bingoed out to win by 12 with the word iNOSItE. What a find!

TC Holgate just turned in paperwork for her last game, a low-scoring 296-284.

John Holgate (AUS) is 2-2 after the morning's games. In game 1, against Gordon Shapiro, he won, 404-315. He fell to Jim Peters in round 2, 422-426; beat Joe Edley in round 3, 362-334; and lost to Mark Fidler in this last round, 452-404.
